Research has shown passengers on a long haul flight are at risk of Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT). Cramped conditions, long periods of inactivity and dehydration lead to a slow-down in circulation which can cause DVT. The use of Lifesystems graduated compression flight socks can improve the circulation, relieving discomfort and helping to prevent circulatory problems.

Your ankle has little muscle in it and requires more stimulus than your

calf to speed up circulation. The knee length socks provide graduated

compression which progresses from 14mmgH at the calf to 17mmgH at

the ankle to stimulate blood flow.

Small: UK 3 – 6

Medium: UK 6 – 9

Large: UK 9 – 12

SPECIFICATION

Made from 15% DuPont Lycra Elastane and 85% DuPont Polyamide

Tactel Nylon. The Lycra is woven in an upward spiral to aid circulation.

The Tactel is a chemically treated yarn that wicks away moisture, keeping

your skin cool and dry.
