Ion-mask offers a way to waterproof footwear without significantly altering breathability levels. 

Hi-Tec's Altitude Ultra WPi is a lightweight leather boot that uses a waterproofing system called ion mask (a nano-technology super DWR treatment developed by P2i Labs, applied to the entire boot)  to make the boot completely waterproof without using a waterproof membrane or sock liner, which some users may find sweaty.

The boots feature Stabila-Flex contoured bi-fit board, lightweight compression-molded EVA midsole, and a Vibram® outsole for maximum shock absorption and support, but without the weight.

Inside the boots, the moisture-wicking lining will push any perspiration vapours away fro your feet to keep them dry and snug. The fully gusseted leather tongue, soft padded leather collar and Comfort-Tec contoured sockliner will ensure you're comfy when you're walking all day.
