The Satmap Active 10 is purpose built for the great outdoors, offering a long battery life in a waterproof and shockproof casing. The Active 10 GPS has some of the most advanced navigation technology available: * Electronic compass * Direction indicator * On board route planning * Map orientation The Satmap Active 10 unit comes with a full GB road map as a base map on the unit. This is a vector style map, and you can choose to have road names turned on or off. There is also an Ordnance Survey 1:1,000,000 map if the whole of Great Britain, which is great for panning rapidly across the country when planning routes.
